Sponsor-Ad Page for Memory Book

We are having a YOHI (Yokosuka High School) 2007 Reunion in San Diego, CA on July 20, 2007. This reunion is being held for individuals located world-wide, the United States including Hawaii, Guam, and Alaska, and Japan to name a few. The common denominator for all is attending Nile C. Kinnick High School at Yokosuka Naval Base, Japan. The group consists mostly of military dependents of service men and women who were stationed in Yokosuka, Japan throughout their service.

We are asking if businesses are interested in supporting our event by advertising their business in the Memory Book which will be distributed at the Reunion. Or if you like, you & your family or friends can sponsor a page with your picture and greetings. The cost will be $25 for a quarter page, $50 for half page and $100 for full page advertisements. Please let us know if you are interested in contributing something for the event. Your contribution would be appreciated. Thank you.

Attention Class Representatives: Please forward this to the members of your class or anyone else who may be interested in sponsoring a page. Thanks.

REUNION CONFUSION

There has been some confusion with regard to another person or group planning a reunion in 2007 as well. Please note that we ARE NOT associated with this person or group. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this or any other issue, please don't hesitate to contact us.

For those of you who do not know us, we, the YOHI 2007 Reunion Committee, all lived in Yokosuka, Japan for an extended period and have great memories of our lives there and have made long and lasting friendships with the people we have met during that time.

Let us tell you a little about ourselves.
Joy Larosa, Class of 87, lived in Yokosuka for 7 years.
Cindie Quiroz, Class of 88, lived in Yokosuka for 8 years.
Claudette Andalajao, Class of 91, lived in Yokosuka for 10 years.
Our fathers were Navy men who were stationed in Yokosuka, Japan. We currently (all three of us) reside on the East Coast, the Washington DC Area to be exact, with Claudette originally from San Diego, CA.

Cindie and Claudette, along with Mario Calderon (Class of 88) and Sam Simbulan (Class of 88) organized the YOHI 2000 Reunion in the Park in San Diego, CA which turned out to be a great success with over 100+ people in attendance. It was great to see old and new friends and reminisce. Because we felt it was again time to re-connect with old friends, Claudette, Cindie and Joy decided to again undertake organizing another reunion making the YOHI 2007 Reunion more formal and making it a two-day event unlike the YOHI 2000 Reunion in the Park.

The YOHI 2007 Reunion that we are organizing is scheduled for July 20 and 21, 2007. The formal banquet will be located onboard the USS MIDWAY and the luau is scheduled for the following day at a park to be announced at a later date.

Both our events will require invitations with detailed information and directions regarding the reunion for the confirmed attendees. If you are interested in attending this reunion, please contact either Claudette, Cindie or Joy directly, regarding being added to the http://www.yohireddevils.blogspot.com blog, or added to the reunion list and to provide us with your contact information. Or please feel free to contact the representative for the your class. We have representatives from Class of 85-Class of 94 who have graciously volunteered to help us with this undertaking.

Class representatives are:
Class of 85 & Class of 86 - Lica Nichols and Yuria Aihara
Class of 87 - Britt Schramm
Class of 88 - Barbara Hornback
Class of 89 - Guen Pardo
Class of 90 - Luisa DiJamco and Marie Sugrue
Class of 91 - Nelson Estupin
Class of 92 - Aya Davis
Class of 93 - Mayumi Mizukami
Class of 94 - Jenn Ames

Thank you.
~Your Reunion Organizers
Cindie, Claudette and Joy
